We welcome all children, families and educators, accepting our members for who they are, and appreciating the experiences and knowledge they bring. Our centre will adopt, reflect and support the needs of those within the service.

Our programs will promote play-based learning through exploration, curiosity and risk-taking, while our space will make children feel safe to share their imagination, thoughts and ideas. Our educators will take inspiration from children’s spontaneity and our programs will be driven by children’s interests.

We strive to exceed legislated requirements. Our policies and procedures will enable the service to provide an emotionally and physically safe space for children, staff and families, where everyone feels respected. Our centre will ensure that staff are supported, and that the work environment promotes a culture of safety.

Our programs will reflect our unique location, and we welcome the local community to be involved at our centre. We value the involvement of our families in the management of this community-run service. Within our service, we will promote connection between our members, and encourage a sense of belonging.

Children in our care will be treated with empathy, respect and encouragement. Our service will prioritise each child’s individuality and growth, and provide care where educators know and encourage children’s interests and establish appropriate goals. We will encourage open communication between families and educators.
